German streetwear brands have grown visibly in recent years. Many started small, with a magazine, a screen printing machine or a YouTube channel. Here is an overview of six labels that come up a lot in 2026.
Transparency note: This article appears on the Lucid Club blog. Lucid Club is our own brand, so it sits in its own section at the end and not in the list. The order is alphabetical and not a ranking, and we have no partnership with any of the brands named.
German streetwear brands at a glance.
032c (Berlin)
032c was founded in Berlin in 2000 by Joerg Koch and Sandra von Mayer-Myrtenhain as a magazine for art, fashion and politics. Streetwear merch followed from 2016, and today 032c makes its own ready to wear collections.
6PM (Frankfurt am Main)
6PM was founded in 2016 by Achraf Ait Bouzalim in Frankfurt am Main. The brand works with drops and has grown strongly through Instagram.
LFDY (Dรผsseldorf)
Live Fast Die Young, LFDY for short, started in 2013 as a do it yourself project by Lorenz Amend in a backyard in Dรผsseldorf, with one screen printing machine. Today the brand runs its own stores, and in 2025 a store in Paris was added.
Peso (Dรผsseldorf)
Peso was founded in 2016 by Justin Fuchs and relies on the drop principle. According to the trade press, around 2,000 fans came to an event in Dรผsseldorf in 2023.
Reternity (Oldenburg)
Reternity was founded in 2018 by Lauren Riedel and Tom Schmidt in Oldenburg, the same city as us. The brand started out selling direct and in 2024 announced its first own store and the move into retail.
WRSTBHVR (Berlin)
WRSTBHVR stands for Worst Behavior and is a Berlin label founded in 2014. The brand has flagship stores in Berlin Mitte and, since 2023, in Hamburg too.
What many of these brands have in common.
- A small start: a magazine, a backyard, a YouTube channel.
- Drops: collections land at a fixed time and in limited numbers.
- Community first: Instagram, events, pop-ups and their own channels matter more than classic advertising.
How to spot a good streetwear brand.
- Transparency: Do they say openly what the pieces are made of and where they are made?
- Fabric and finishing: Are material and fabric weight listed on the product page? What GSM means is in What does GSM mean?
- Sizing: Is there a size chart with real measurements and details on the models?
- Service: How do returns and exchanges work, and what do real reviews say?
