Size guide: which size for Star Denim and the Cozy Tracksuit?

Which size fits in Star Denim and the Cozy Tracksuit? The short answer: order by centimetres, not by the number you usually wear. Here you will find every measurement from our size charts in one place, plus a guide to measuring at home.

The short answer.

• Star Denim: The number after the slash is not a waist size in inches. M/32 has an 88 cm waist. If you are between two sizes, go for the smaller one.
• Cozy Tracksuit: In the set you choose hoodie and trousers separately, so you can take M on top and S below.
• Most ordered: M. For Star Denim that is M/32.

How to measure at home.

1. Take a pair of jeans that fits you well. Button them up and lay them flat on the floor or a table.
2. Measure the waistband from edge to edge and double the number. That is your waist.
3. Measure the inseam from the crotch along the inner seam down to the hem.
4. Put your numbers next to the chart and pick the size whose waist is closest.

Star Denim jeans.

The chart applies to every Star Denim wash: Sahara Sky, Phantom Black, Raw Blue, Raw Black, Smoked Mocha and Basic Black. The fit is called Regular Open Leg, and each size comes in one length. Measurements in cm, measured flat.

Why the smaller size? In the Star Denim reviews, more people write "too big" or "too wide" than "too small". One example: "Great trousers. Just too big in M, unfortunately."

Another review says: "My son is 1.90 m and very slim, size S fit really well." Here too, the waist decided, not the height.

The Cozy Tracksuit is made up of the Cozy Hoodie and the Cozy Sweatpants, both in 70 % cotton and 30 % polyester at 360 GSM. Marvin is 186 cm tall and wears L, Sarah is 159 cm tall and wears XS.
